Meditation is a daily practice for me and many ideas have been revealed to me during meditation. One is that “to create is to celebrate one’s connection to the cosmos.” The very act of creation seems to me to be a sacred dance of materials, and is a way of honoring the creative force that brought us all into being.

Note: I opted to not have my sun sign shown in this profile because I am more inclined toward the eastern or Vedic astrological system as opposed to the western or tropical system most popular in this country. Tropical astrology uses fixed positions of the stars and planets, while the eastern (sometimes referred to as Sidereal astrology) uses the actual and current positions. What does this mean, from a sun sign perspective? Well, Tropical astrology says I am an Aries, because according to that system the sun was in Aries when I was born. Fact is, the sun was not in Aries. It was in Picses. Checking any astonomy map will verify that. I’m no expert on astrology, and have only a mild passing interest in it, but for those who would like more info, try a Google search of the word Sidereal astrology.
